Months later, after the few posts, this blog has been waning. But I haven’t forgotten about it. It will have a rebirth of posts as I regain my footing and start brainstorming again. I find I miss writing, but the world is full of craziness that I have not had the opportunity to slow down and relax a little bit more. So hopefully, with our 0 followers, eventually we will write something more in the coming months.

We Are Back!
Sep 3
It’s been a long time coming back folks. Most of it would be my fault, since I accidentally forgot that aimsimple.com was on an old webhost of mine that was shared with another personal web site of mine, sparkling-grace.net. We are using the trusty asmallorange.com web host that another domain of mine resides on. I have a few things to fix (I just noticed), but otherwise, the content is there.
After a few bumps in the road, I’ve finally got this web site up and running, and I’ve got lots of things to say and share. I know delayedllama has asked me several times about it, and I almost forgot it, had we not had a discussion about goals this morning. Plus, I’ve missed writing about topics that truly matter to me.
So let’s hope this continues and there are no bumps in the future thanks to my forgetful brain!
Welcome Christophe!

I welcome my cohort and friend Christophe to “AimSimple”! He’s a much better writer than I am so hopefully he’ll be writing often; check out his wonderfully written personal first entry on the topic of happiness. I mean, who doesn’t want to achieve happiness? Here’s to our path to achieving simplicity in our lives!
Live Simple.

Living simple.
So many of us want to do it, so many of us try to do it, but fail miserably. Given that we are living in a society that over-consumption seems to be the norm, it is difficult for even those who are aware of the”want more, need more, never enough” signals that advertisements blast all around to re-program their minds.
I’m currently trying to live more simple and yet, have more satisfaction, starting by first consuming less. However, I find myself always teeter-tottering between wanting more and then catching myself from buying something I really don’t need.
I’m not a wonderful writer, my grammar is far from perfect, but I thought starting a blog about trying to consume less and at the same time being more environmentally conscious would actually make me a little bit more well, conscious in general.
I’m sure many of you struggle with the idea of living with less, try to for a couple weeks maybe, but fall back into old habits. I’ve always found the idea of living simple interesting, having read several books on the problem of consumption in the US, becoming financially independent so we have more time to ourselves with less worries, and books on how to live with less . Hopefully I can keep it up and write at a good pace. I’m hoping that I can help others live with more satisfaction while enforcing myself to stay in line.
